New Adventure: Empire Photography

After 8 years of being asked by friends and family to take their photos, I decided this was the year to launch my own photography business. Of course, I wouldn’t have the confidence to do so unless I practiced for 8 years, failing and succeeding. Learning how to do the business side of things.

As I developed my portfolio website and began to brain storm I realized how hard this must be for someone who is new with only their love for photography. As I always do I was going to keep this a secret until once again I was ready but as I developed the instragram account, it notify my friends which out of no where I had new followers with out me evening asking anyone.

The following day I had a few people already inquire about future events. The only thing that was holding me back was getting my business license, I just didn’t know what to do. I contacted my friend to help me do that and next week I will go to my city center and make it official.

There is still a lot to do but I found the more I do the more ideas come to me. The more confident I am that this is going to work.
