Record Hunting After Quarantine

I visit my local record store after the state wide quarantine moved into a new phase of opening up businesses. I go on a record hunt to find some classic artist at a small used record store in Southern California.

This episode I invite Cameron, my fellow vinyl collector to talk Beach Boys records and share what he’s added to his collection recently. He shares how the Beach Boys’ Carl Wilson used music to share the hardship he faced as the pressure grew in the band success. Female Artist in My Record Collection

I share my favorite female artist for Women International Day (March 8). Françoise Hardy is a French artist from the 60’s, she has over 27 albums, a life time of creating music. I own three of her albums and still collecting records I come across from her. She creates such beautiful music. Next, I share one of the first albums I ever owned, Mazzy Star, a rock band from the 90’s. Fade into You was a song that caught my attention while watching Angus, a teen pop film from 1995.Hope you enjoy my vinyl shares this week. Thriftstore hunting for my music collection

I go on a hunt to discover some new music and revisit music I loved but forgot about. Goodwill can often be a place to discover cds and donated records. It takes time to dig in the pile but once in a while I find some hidden treasures. *To anyone who notices the small details in videos, my toddler disappears because I dropped her off at grandmas. I go record hunting this weekend to find some new music. I visit my local record store with my toddler to find some vintage music. Day 2 I invite my friend Christina to join me, a 90’s music expert and musician her self shares with me her favorite 90’s rock artist and alternative rock albums.
